Zero Brokerage doesn't mean no transaction cost.

We offer zero brokerage plans for equity delivery transactions which means that no brokerage cost is involved in the transaction. But that doesn't mean no costs are involved when you buy or sell a share.

Below is the list of the various charges involved in buy and sell of equity shares delivery based and intraday:

1. Securities Transaction Tax:

Equity Delivery Transactions

Purchase: 0.10% of Turnover i.e. (Number of Shares * Price)

Sell: 0.10% of Turnover i.e. (Number of Shares * Price)

Equity Intra-day Transactions

Purchase: NIL

Sell: 0.025% of Turnover i.e. (Number of Shares * Price)

2. Stamp Duty*:

Equity Delivery Transactions

Purchase: 0.01% of Turnover. Turnover usually taken in multiple of Rs 5000

Sell: 0.01% of Turnover. Turnover usually taken in multiple of Rs 5000

Equity Intra-day Transactions

Purchase: 0.002% of Turnover. Turnover usually taken in multiple of Rs 5000

Sell: 0.002% of Turnover. Turnover usually taken in multiple of Rs 5000

*Differ from state to state.

3. Stock Exchange Transaction Charges:

Equity Delivery Transactions

Purchase: 0.0031% of turnover in NSE and 0.0035% of Turnover in BSE

Sell: 0.0031% of turnover in NSE and 0.0035% of Turnover in BSE

Equity Intra-day Transactions

Purchase: 0.0031% of turnover in NSE and 0.0035% of Turnover in BSE

Sell: 0.0031% of turnover in NSE and 0.0035% of Turnover in BSE

4. SEBI Turnover Charges:

Equity Delivery Transactions

Purchase: 0.0001% of Turnover

Sell: 0.0001% of Turnover

Equity Intra-day Transactions

Purchase: 0.0001% of Turnover

Sell: 0.0001% of Turnover

5. Goods and Services Tax:

18% on Stock Exchange Transaction Charges & SEBI Turnover Charges.
